WHAT IS HYPERSPECTRAL IMAGING (HSI)?

Hyperspectral imaging is a cutting-edge technology that allows the capture of highly-detailed images of objects or scenes. It does this by breaking down the light reflected from the objects into many narrow bands of colors, typically hundreds or even thousands of bands, which are then analyzed to extract information about the material properties of the objects.

Hyperspectral imaging can be used in a wide variety of applications, from agriculture and mining to environmental monitoring and defense. It has the ability to detect and identify objects and materials tha are difficult or impossible to see with the naked eye or conventional imaging techniques.

Our company offers a range of hyperspectral cameras that are designed to meet the needs of different applications and industries. Whether you need a camera for remote sensing, surveillance, or research, our products are reliable, easy to use, and deliver high-quality data. WHAT IS PUSHBROOM HSI?

Pushbroom hyperspectral imaging (HSI) is a type of HSI that uses a “pushbroom” sensor to capture images of an object or scene. A pushbroom sensor is essentially a linear array of detectors that scan across the scene, capturing data as it moves. The sensor is typically mounted over a platform or an aircraft and scans the scene in a swath as the platform moves. The resulting data is then used to create an image of the scene.

WHAT ARE THE INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS OF PUSHBROOM HSI?

Quality Control

Inspect industrial products and materials such as food products, to ensure they meet quality standards and detect any defects.

Chemical Analysis

Analyze the chemical composition of a wide range of materials, such as soils, rocks, minerals, and industrial products. This can be used to identify materials, detect pollutants, and monitor environmental conditions.

Process Control

Monitor industrial processes, such as the production of chemicals or pharmaceuticals, to ensure they are running efficiently and to detect any probems early.

Quality Checks

Inspect & analyze the quality of textiles, printing, and paper products, and detect any defects.

Inspection of Aerospace & Automotive Parts

HSI can be used to inspect aerospace & automotive parts,h as engine components & gears, to detect defects and ensure they are operating correctly.

Non-destructive Testing

Perform non-destructive testing on a variety of materials, such as metals, ceramics, and composites, to detect defects or determine the quality of the material.

These are just a few examples of the many ways that pushbroom HSI can be used in industrial applications. The technology is highly versatile and can be adjusted to suit a wide range of needs!
